Eligibility Condition For Retention

Medical Examination

(a) Students are required to undergo an annual medical examination by the College Medical Officer during the five year stay at PAF College, Sargodha. Medically unfit students are discharged.

(b) Medical Examination by CMB is held during the final year.


After completion of Matric, only those boys who obtain First Division (Grade A+, A & B) are retained for further studies up to FSc.

Joint Military Education & Training Programme (JMET)

After Matriculation few pre-cadets may be sent to Army / Navy Cadet Colleges for two years training under the Joint Military Education and Training Programme and will return to PAF College Sargodha at the end of this period.

Joining PAF Academy Asghar Khan, Risalpur after FSc

After F Sc (First Division holders) only those students who qualify ISSB and are declared medically fit by CMB are eligible to join PAF Academy Asghar Khan, Risalpur. Since PAF invests substantial resources and money on the training of Pre-Cadets for five years, therefore, both chances of ISSB are to be taken by Pre-Cadets exclusively for this College. The statistical figures of last 24 years reveal that 74% of Pre-Cadets were admitted to PAF Academy Asghar Khan, Risalpur.
