In 1951, AVM Sir Richard Atcherley proposed an educational and training platform for the Pakistan Air Force. The idea behind was to give all the facilities to these boys and nurture them to fulfill the need of fighter pilots for Pakistan Air Force. The standards were set and the bar kept increasing day by day. PAF College Sargodha has always focused on character building and nurturing a sense of responsibility in its students. The students of PAF College Sargodha are groomed in such a way that when they start their career in Pakistan Air Force, they shine through and leave success stories behind them. It is the hard work of the teaching faculty at PAF College Sargodha on its students that they never fail in any field of life. Apart from serving in Pakistan Air Force and other Armed Forces, many Sargodhians have made their careers in Civil Services, Politics, and distinguished themselves in other countries as well. They have set a high bar that serves to motivate Sargodhians to strive for the extraordinary. It speaks volumes of the College's ability to draw the best out of each of its students.
